These booties are warm and look great. However, they do not breath at all (not surprising) and are coming apart after two weeks of use.
These booties are warm. I have been using them in the upper 30s through low 50s. I have never been cold. Anything above 45 and my feet start to sweat. These are neoprene, so they do not breath at all.
The fit is tight and it takes some trial and error to learn how to get them on well. It is easy for me now. The pull tab came off with a light tug, it probably got damaged on an earlier day. Losing the tab is not a big deal, it is not needed. However, the stitching that holds the tab on also is vital to the construction of the heal and it is starting to unravel. I would replace them if they had more in my size.

I am very pleased with this purchase. They are true to size and very warm. I havent liked riding in the cold these last few years. These shoe covers are a game changer for me. The coldest Ive used them was 43 degrees and 10-15 mph winds. My were sweating! They really help the rest of my body stay warm through out the ride which is usually 25-30 miles. Awesome!

I ride outdoors in all kinds of unpleasant weather and have tried so many different shoecovers. This one is east to get on and off, fits snugly and keeps your feet dry and warm. I wish I had tried them years ago!

Much warmer than I expected, i need to wear thin socks for 35 deg plus weather. Gets hot at 45 deg and I have to lower the rear zipper. Hard to get on and off, very difficult with Sidi Dominators due to the velcro strap and latch. So I use with laced Dromarti's which make it easier. The XXL fits my size 45 Sidi and Dromarti. Castelli sizing charts are wrong. BikeTiresDirect should provide their own guidelines. Not sure how long the soles will hold up.

Great shoe covers for wet, cold PNW weather. They keep my feet warm and dry whilst enjoying riding in the rain. Easy to put on and look good! My go to booties for rainy weather. Good quality and should last a long time.

These were toasty on a 45 mile rain ride. Generally this would mean they are warm to the mid 30s when dry.
The extra height not only keeps you warm, but it looks pro and it's more important to look good than to be good or feel good.
Like all Castelli, it is snug and hard to get on but these just fit and look great. They are solidly constructed with a good zipper. Definitely would buy these again and since they are neoprene and don't dry that quickly, I may have to.
Sizing 43.5, bought L/XL and wore an oversock between my shoe and the cover.

This boot cover is phenomenal. It kept my shes warm and dry, in my opinion, they look incredible. They are a bit tight and are a little hard to fully zip shut. Definitely would buy again.

Wore these on 5 hour rain ride at temps between 40 and 50, and while my feet did get wet they stayed warmer than other booties I've tried. Size L/XL fit perfectly for size 44 cycling shoes.

These are definitely warmer than others I've tried, also fairly easy to put on and take off. My feet still get cold on longer rides but these make it so it's not painful to walk when you finally get out of the saddle, it also doesn't take very long to warm back up once you get back inside.

Tested out these shoecover during cold weather in Florida and it held up pretty well. Yes, it does get cold here in Florida, around 34.8 degrees. Not only cold but with the humidity, it always feels colder than Colorado. I have traveled between states and Colorado is more of a dry cold, but Florida's humidity makes it very uncomfortable when it's below temp. Anyway, rode for 84 miles and my feet didn't feel numb or tingling like how it usually does with my Pearl Izumi shoecover. But, at the end of the ride my ankles were a little wet from the sweat. Highly recommend these shoe covers during the cold months.

works well with just wool socks and shoes to wind chill below 30 degrees

Used these the first time on New Years Day. Was very wet with temperatures starting in the mid 30's . These shoe covers kept my feet warm during a 4 an entire 4 hour ride.
