Got these when it's cool outside. These are very good , warm and fit well. Only concern is they are cut low . Overall very good and would buy again

Bought these because they were on sale and I was due for new shorts. I found they fit true to size and are plenty long. I'm 6'5 with a 33-34 waist and the large fit fairly well if a little short up the waist. They're long enough to fit onto my calves. Been on some great day rides with them so far and am looking forward to some centuries and multi-day rides with them. Note these are NOT cold weather tights, they keep your knees a little warmer than shorts but are not designed for cold weather riding.

I ride in a variety of weather conditions so need clothing for cold, cool, mild, warm, and hot conditions. Knickers are that perfect bridge for the coolmild periods. These knickers are stylish and priced right (I did get them on sale as I am typically an online sale browser for cycling gear). But, you cannot go wrong with Castelli.

Descent knicker for the money. Not quite as long as the pearl izumi's they replaced. They are not 3/4, only come down over the knee. I normally wear a large and had to reorder this pair in XL after larges proved to be to tight. Good for early morning and evening rides.

In general, I like Castelli, but I've had more than one of their items itch in my knee pit. This knicker has that problem. When I wear them with something like knee warmers underneath, they're OK, but without, there's a thread poking out, or something like that, and it's irritating.
Also, the waist is low. This is odd, particularly on an item intended for cool weather.
That aside, they're nicely made, and the chamois feels great, at least so far.

We have a lot of temp range in AZ, 30 degrees change throughout a day. These knickers are great for when temps will change a lot during your ride.

A lot of friends recommended that I purchase Castelli Shorts. I am very satisfied. It's a steal compared to all the other high quality shorts out there. Do get a size or 2 up though.

I'm 6'3, 183 lbs. I got an XL, snug fit and low waist. Pad is thin, but suitable. Quality is good.

Have used so far in Cyclocross rides under rain pants due to bad winter weather. Cannot wait to shed the rain gear..

Great for southern and central coast California winter climate. An easy fix for morning chill and cloudy-day rides. If you have 2 pair, they won't be able to get you off the roads.
