This is the first helmet that I have purchased. I found it to be very comfortable and lightweight. I like that it's easily adjustable. I don't have much to compare it to, but on my first long ride I didn't mind having it on.

Very good helmet.
I don't like wearing helmets but Cannondale's Teramo helmet is stylish, light and I get excellent ventilation.

Very light and very sturdy. It also lets a lot of air in, which is good on a hot day. At night it can get cold but a hat under the helmet stops that.

I'm very pleased with the Cannondale Teramo helmet. I have a large head and am concerned when buying helmets or hats (baseball caps simply don't fit) the large helmet I ordered has room to spare. Good ventilation, certainly better than my old Giro, and light weight. I was looking for a helmet with more forehead protection and WITHOUT a visor - just don't trust how a visor would react if it were to make initial contact in a crash - and I'm please with the fit at the front and the back. Price was right - MSRP in the States is $109 and an whopping $149 in Canada (still can't figure that one out as our dollars are pretty much at par). Cannondale doesn't make too many models of helmets but they sure made a good one with the Teramo.

I always use this helmet and love how it fits and looks.

Bought this to replace a different helmet after a crash. The airflow doesn't seem as good in my normal riding position. It does have really good airflow in other positions.

I was looking for a helmet that doesn't look too mushroomy. I've tried different helmets from bell to giro and nothing fits my head that wouldn't look too mushroomy on my head. I tried the Teramo and it just fits perfectly on my head. It doesn't look too big on my head (low profile) and the most important part, it didn't look too mushroomy. The weight is pretty good compared to a mid-level helmet and the quality is on par with mid to high-end helmets as well.

It's light weight, it looks good, it fits me very well, and the ventilation is excellent. More importantly, when a ped stepped in front of me and caused me to crash, hitting the back of my head HARD against the concrete, the helmet absorbed the impact (multiple cracks, compressed foam, etc.) and my head was just fine. Bought the exact same model to replace the trashed one. Oh, and the price is right - it would even be a good value at full price.

I've been looking for a helmet that will fit my head and I've tried the higher end helmets and didn't like the fit. I tried on the Cdale Teramo and it fits perfectly on my head (weird shaped head). It's a low profile helmet and doesn't look very mushroomy. Quality looks up to par with the more expensive helmets but a third of the price. I'm very happy overall with this helmet and would recommend it.

I purchased this helmet to replace an older Giro Monza helmet for road cycling. The Cannondale Teramo is lightweight and I like the styling. Straps are comfortable and the tightening system works well. It even fits my egg shaped head!

I ride in the desert and starting to get warm out here. Helmet is light and comfortable, like the adjustment mechanism. Ventilation is probably ok but thought my old Giro did a little better job. Unfortunately had to retire the Giro after crash on a mountain bike.

I've had a few helmets over the years and tended to go with cheap since reports say it doesn't matter for safety reasons. BUT paying for a little better helmet makes a huge difference on comfort! This helmet is awesome-fits my head well, easy adjustments, lots of venting, lightweight, and looks good. The removable brim was a plus. I just bought a green accented Cannondale last year and the color matches perfectly! The sale price made it even better!

What can I say, it's a helmet. Like the rotary adjustable knob at back though

I had a fall last week where my front tire popped my bike went skating under me and my head slammed on the asphalt. This helmet worked as designed/it cracked, absorb the impact, and protected my head.

About fifteen rides with this helmet in warmer temps and it's comfy, light, and airy enough for the hot weather. As some other reviewers have said, it's a narrow helmet, so it doesn't look super dorky.
I'd buy again and recommend to others.

I've tried different helmets before buying the teramo. I have a big head and most helmets were uncomfortable (pressure spots). I've tried the terai and loved it. It's light, well ventilated and fits comfortably on my big head. Do try the teramo if the other brands did not fit your head comfortably.
