I upgraded from an entry level helmet and it was worth the extra money. This helmet fits better, the adjustments are more precise, and the air vents allow an incredible amount of air to flow over your head.

This is a very light and well vented helmet, fits very well and is much thinner in profile than many of the more bulky offerings by other manufacturers. For the price, you won't find anything lighter or better looking. My only reservation is that the straps are still bulky and heavy like a low end helmet. The strap thickness and relative rigidity is much greater than other helmets of this same weight. Maybe that is where they kept the price low? For me, this could have easily been a 5 star product-just find some thinnersofter straps and smaller buckles to use in putting it together.

I was enthusiatic to find a helmet on the light end of the spectrum with large vents--at a spectacularly affordable price. Cannonadale really delivered on the design. Fit is great. Air moves well through the vents and even in the matte blackcarbon, made my ride in 90 degree temps more comfortable than the mid level Specialized I am used to. The only disappointment has been the thicker, heavier straps that seem unnecessary on this model. Cannondale, you could have really knocked it out of the park on your new line nd made it 85% of the way. My vote for a Gen 2 of the Teramo is to switch to a thinner width, lighter weight strap and buckles. Maybe that changes the pricepoint, but with all the positives of the this helmet has going for it, it would be a great next step.

A good value
This helmet fits well-and doesn't look so big and bulky like some less expensive helmets.

I bought this helmet not long before leaving for this year's RAGBRAI. During the ride I wore it six or seven hours a day-enough to really become familiar with it. The adjustment mechanism works well and provides a close fit and the chin straps are made of a lightweight fabric that doesn't chafe. The inner padding is comfortable and can be removed easily for washing. I've found in the past that the padding in many helmets feels simply like pieces of foam wedged against the head, but this helmet is comfortable to wear. There were times I almost forgot I had it on. I was impressed by how well it breathed in warm weather. I highly recommend this helmet for all riders for its comfort, fit, light weight, breathability, style, and value!

I love this helmet! I have one for my Cannondale and one for my Giant. Even if its cross branding. This helmet is light, and the chin straps are soft, they don't carve into your face like the other brands do. The adjustable headstrap is supportive but not too hot or doesn't get bunched up into your cap. The most important thing is safety and I did have an accident in which I was hit by a car. The helmet cracked in 3 places and it probably saved my life! Cannondale did a crash replacement swap that cost me a fraction of the MSRP. I would recommend this helmet to anyone

I got this helmet for something a bit cooler when the warm days come. It has lots of large vents so seems cooler than my Giro. It sits higher on my head than the Giro, and has more coverage in the back but a bit less on the sides. It adjusts easily and looks good.
