I got a pair of these before a 212 mile ride over mothers day weekend. The weather was crazy warm which we hadn't anticipated, these bottles were able to keep our water cold for every hours. We drank about 240oz per day, the first day was 90 and the second day hit 88, we were quite impressed at the ability of these bottles to keep our drinks cold. The nozzle is great too open, no spill, works like a champ! Couldn't be happier, maybe another set of braise ons for a third bottle ,)

I generally carry 3 podium big chill bottles for my long training rides. The pack the bottles with ice and they stay cold for at least 3 hours. I mostly ride TT bikes and these bottles fit well into my rear hydration carrier and don't spill. Also, because of the jet valve, it is really easy to take a big drink and you don't have to worry about closing the valve top when done drinking. My opinion is that these are by far the best bottles on the market.

I love 'em. They keep liquids cooler and don't spill.

Minimal to no insulation value, valve and top will leak intermittently. Other bottles out there are better.

Great water bottle and easy to get a drink from while riding. Like the no spill top.

It works. Keeps my water cooler longer. New valve is also very nice. Bottle stays in my cages well (Dave-0 and Sidekick). Freeze it the night before and you'll still have cool water 2hrs into your ride.

My son and daughter-in-law gave me a Big Chill 25oz bottle for Christmas years ago. I gave it a try, loved it, no more warm tap water on hot summer days. It keeps colder (2-3 hours) if you full it with ice first. Only downside is they are rather large compared to other water bottles and they won't fit all cages for a secure fit. I have two 25oz Big Chills and one 21oz for the winter. I'll never go back to a standard bottle again. Always having fresh cold water on a hot summer day makes riding more enjoyable. It's the little things that make a difference.

Great bottle

Helps keep water cold for a longer time. Cold water won't last more than 4 hours though. Dust and dirt seam to get into the spout so you need to clear it sometimes before you drink.

good size.

I do like the way the top works...no leaks, easy to dispense and it holds a lot..but in 85-90 degree weather, liquid went from icy to warm in very short time. I didn't seen any increase in time that liquid stayed cool.

The Camelbak Podium series of bottles is awesome. They don't leak on the bike and the special valve guarantees that they don't leak during transport. They are easy to squeeze even in very cold weather. Nothing comes out of the bottle until you squeeze, and when you stop squeezing, the liquid stops flowing instantly. No mess.
Some people have complained of nasty odors and tastes, but I own seven Camelbak Podium bottles, and I have NEVER experienced that. It's the best bottle on the market.

Great bottle, easy to drink from. I use it year round and it is easier to drink from in the cold than a polar bottle that gets hard in the winter.

These bottles are amazing, I've replaced all my traditional bike bottles with these because 1 they keep beverages cold for a long time and 2 don't have that nasty plastic taste. Why 4 stars? They screwed the design up vs the older ones. In the new models, the mouth is now wider which I believe helps cut down on mold on the mouth piece (the old ones got some mold, but I could care less) and they changed the grip. In warmer weather, the condensation on the bottle makes it slippery and the way they changed the grip has made me almost lose the bottle a few times. My older model bottles don't have this problem. Pretty stupid design choice if you ask me.
Buy these bottles. Pro-tip, don't freeze them if you want to drink within the next 8 hours. Before ride fill 12 with ice and rest with ice water, you should be nice and frosty for 4-5 hours.

The new valve is great. Insulation is a little bit lacking here in sunny Socal. I'd recommend this to a friend.
