The E-Impulso is so light and easy to pedal, despite being an E-bike, that I use it as a regular bike more often that I do as an E-bike. Colder weather is settling in and I've only ridden it in the vicinity of home so far. When I get to hillier terrain, I'm sure I'll use the Ebikemotion motor more often.
The only issue I had with the bike was the battery hadn't been periodically charged while it was in the warehouse. As a result, when I received the bike, the battery was dead and would not take a charge. Fortunately, I have a Bianchi dealer nearby. He was able to replace the battery under warranty and BikeTiresDirect paid the labor charge for that service. If I didn't have a dealer nearby, I believe BikeTiresDirect would have let me ship the bike back to them for repair. Fortunately, I didn't have to do that. I could never protect the bike as well as they did when they packed it into the shipping container. When I got it, assembly was a snap, once I removed all the protective padding. Thanks to Dennis, the travails I went through with the dead battery went fairly smoothly. He never left me in the cold...
