I gave these shorts all Summer and many rides to evaluate and they just get worse and worse. It seems like a medium inner short was stitched into a large outer short. The liner is constantly pulling the shorts off my a** and once I pull the inner liner high enough it cuts off the circulation in my legs. I don't have huge thighs and have never had a issue buying a large. The padding after months of use and many washings is so stiff it digs into my thighs and zero room for my manly bits. Constantly have to adjust my junk around during a ride and I can't get them off fast enough once back home.
Apparently I am winning the battle against the tight fit as the stitching on the padding is starting to fail. I have a 20 year old pair of Bellwether winter tights that are still good, so I hope this is just a fluke failure.

Shorts are well cushioned and quite stylish. Would definitely recommend them and buy them again.

I use these for mountain biking and find them very comfortable, even on long rides. I am 5'10 160lbs and wear the medium.

I wear both conventional riding shorts, bibs, and baggy shorts, and these are equal to any others that I have. They fit well, provide support, and after 7 or 8 washing, look like new.

I've ridden many centuries with these shorts and they are awsome! The chamois works very well. The pockets and zippers are really nice. These shorts are really wonderful when you're off the bike and ready to go when you hop back on. The best of both worlds. These things are really durable. I handwash them after rides and they look just as good as when I got them got them. I'm a 34-36 waist and the large fits great. I own two pairs of these and have no desire to try any other.

My husband has several pairs of these shorts, which he wears both for spinning class at the gym and for outdoor riding. Even though he rides a road bike, he prefers the baggies, and this particular style had enough give but does not bunch up like some of the other baggies he has tried. He also likes the zippered pockets for storing small items.

commute to work so these are perfect in a wide range of conditions

These shorts are basically normal shorts with skin-tight bike shorts inside. The pockets are very useful and placed nicely to avoid causing a problem with the saddle. I use these shorts for when I want to bike 10 miles but still be in an appropriate dress for bars, restaurants, etc.

I wear these shorts on my daily commute. These shorts are durable and I can compare against other manufacturers whose liners unravelled after a couple of washings. Definitely got my moneys worth.
I ordered a large size and I am a 37 inch waist. The fit is fine but I would have liked to try an XL as comparison since chamois does feel snug around top of thighs.

I actually had to buy a second pair cause i loved them so much. Very comfortable for long distances. I used them on a 2 day 150 mile MS ride in very hot weather.

Basic baggy cycling shorts, nothing I didn't like about these.

I use these for trail rides on my mountain bike. I really like the zippered pockets. Medium size is perfect fit for my 32 waist. I am indifferent about the padding, would just as soon it were not there.

After receiving my shorts, I was amazed at the quality construction. Sharp looking and comfortable without that skintight look. Just what I was looking for and I found them on Bike Tires Direct ! Great Value, you won't be disappointed.

I bought these shorts for my frequently riding around town and some jaunts where I wanted the baggies and with pockets. They fill the bill for me nicely and I consider them a gret deal.

A gift for my father in law. He's not a serious rider but wanted a chamois to keep him more comfortable during rides. These shorts were economically priced (and on sale at my purchase time). And of good quality. He seems to like them...

These are my first bicycle shorts, which I use for my daily commute. The fit very nicely and are comfortable. They also are appropriate to wear at work while cooling down. A couple of downsides I noticed I tend to sweat a lot with them. I sometimes get some rubbing in a sensitive zone, so a little extra coverage (a baby mitten works) is helpful.

Not what I thought I was getting.....Fabric is stiff and cushioned riding insert is NOT position correctly. Overall poor quality. The previous pair that I had from Bellwether that were similiar in style to this pair were very good...What happened?

The shorts are truly light weight, I like the internal padding along the seated area and the zipper on the pockets secure my keys and phone.
