These gloves are very warm, like almost too warm for temps above mid-30's F. They have pretty good dexterity on the shifters for a fairly thick glove. These gloves let my hands stay comfortable in weather about as cold as I'm willing to ride in. Almost as warm as bar mitts, and without having to commit to one bike for winter. Good on both drop bars and flat bars (as long as you can use one-finger braking).

I will ride in the 28F to 35F range during the winter months and haven't had good luck with many of the gloves I've tried. Decided to give Assos a try and these gloves worked rather well. If you're down below 32F, my fingers will eventually get cold (around the 2nd hr). But, these do seem to hold up better than the other gloves I have. Sizing is a smidge smaller than typical. I went according to the sizing chart (L), which is typically what i wear. they fit, but my finger tips touch the end of the glove. I'd say 1/2 size to small for me.
