So these bibs are the best, and they're nearly perfect. The saddle disappears on the trainer or the road and I feel like I'm one with my bike.
My only issue has been that there's some pulling or tight areas in the groin when I go for the drops, so I haven't fully figured out what's causing this when I put them on, but it's annoying and definitely not comfortable when it happens. Especially, since these are race oriented bibs and they should have plenty of give in the saddle area.
The fabric seems unforgiving in this side crotch zone and I've owned several iterations of Assos bibs over the years which have given me hot spots but never this bad.
I do love them in general, view them as a market leader in design and grab for them first in my closet.

First pair of Assos. First impressions (after a 70-mile ride): Quite comfortable. Everything's good where it matters, in the chamois and the fabric. Fit is good; perhaps slightly tighter / more compressive than other brands in the same size, but not enough to change sizes. The length is slightly short compared with other brands but not a problem. The stitching or construction is a little different, and can only be described as crotch-centric. (Walking around in a gas station feels even more anti-social than usual...)

These are the best bibs I have. The chamois is very good. The way the bib straps are connected to the shorts in 2 places in back makes a big difference. They hold everything in place way better.

Very comfortable. I really like the shape of the chamois. It does not come up as high as normal in front, so is cooler. I wore these on a 200 mile ride with no problems.

These are more compressive than the S7 styles, and I size up one size, which gives me a snug fit, but not uncomfortable at all. Have to give a 4 star because of super high price, so wait for the sales.

I've had the S7 and S9 Equipe bibs and they are my standard, even compared to the RSR. These S9 Targa bring slight improvements like perforated chamois. Assos continues to be my go-to.
