It's crazy how a simple device such as this can solve for a problem plaguing us cyclists for years. I used this at a local race in May and it was pouring rain for the entire 42 miles. Yes, my bottom got soaked eventually, but I can't help but feel like it wasn't as bad as it would have been without the Ass Saver. The one thing I can report is that there was significantly less road grit on the back side of my shorts and jacket when I used the Ass Saver. I ended up at another race a few weeks ago and didn't have the Ass Saver installed. It rained (again) and the amount of grit that ended up on me was noticeably higher resulting in a much longer post-ride clean up effort.
