Running the 3T TORNO Carbon Crankset in the Original Narrow configuration with 170?mm crank arms on my 3T Exploro has been an ideal setup for the type of riding I do'smooth pavement, rough roads, and occasional off-road exploring. Even though I'm not chasing race speeds often anymore, the Torno delivers exceptional stiffness and efficiency, immediately noticeable even for a larger rider like me. I chose the narrow version over the Torno Wide because I wanted maximum low-speed efficiency and long-haul aerodynamic gains, and the narrow stance delivers exactly that. Beyond performance, the crankset carries a classic Italian flare, with sculpted carbon lines and a refined aesthetic that feels intentionally crafted rather than merely manufactured. This crankset is serious'a piece of equipment that looks as good as it performs, and performs above and beyond what most riders will ever demand. Paired with the Wheels Manufacturing angular-contact EVO386 bottom bracket, the system runs smooth and creak-free, offering durability and stability across all terrain. While the Torno is undeniably expensive'pushing into the thousand-dollar range and requiring a proprietary chainring'the combination of extreme stiffness, efficient power transfer, durability, and elegant Italian design makes it a standout choice for riders who value both performance and style.
