what I have been looking for

these glasses have enough tint for sunny days and cloudy days. comfortable. good optics. A caveat I have little experience with expensive riding glasses, hence my 4 stars, otherwise I have no complaints whatsoever.

Styled for Cyclists, with Fototec

Ive had these glasses for over a year. So I feel qualified to give a brief review.

These Davos are and do just what sunglasses for cycling are supposed to do. They look good, theyre lightweight, and I ordered a pair with Fototech, which will darken as the amount of sunlight intensifies and lighten as the light lessens.

While they dont go deeply dark in the midday sun and they don't go completely clear at dusk, they work more than well enough to keep your eyes happy while their showing you the sights.

Punches above its weight just a few nitpicks

Glasses provide great coverage and protection from light but aren't the best option if you are riding in very bright conditions as they don't darken as much as I'd like. Not a showstopper, but something to be aware of. In spite of ventilation, I find they will fog up if I wear them too close to my face. But they fit very well, look good, and provide a lot of coverage and are especially good for morning rides where the sun rises slowly. At this price point, very good glasses.

Solid high end racing glasses with top features and good cost to performance ratio,

I ride and race many times per month - averaging 300 miles. I have had high end Giro glasses, many pairs, for many years and would compare the fit, design, comfort, and usability to these. The Davos have an interesting design in having slits at the top for air and perspiration, something useful to anyone who sweats or goes for long rides - more so when the weather is inclement. The cost of the product is low compared to other high end glasses. They do not have the super high end features though this is not a general concern as replacing these several times over the years will then be equal to the normal price paid for other top products.
