A co-venture between Soma and Panaracer, the B-Line is a fast rolling 650b road tire that doesn't give up puncture protection.
It's essentially the slightly lighter, faster cousin of Soma's robust Xpress tire, inspired by the Panaracer Pasela. Unlike the Xpress, the B-Line features a standard nylon casing for a more supple ride quality and improved handling. The grooved tread is lifted straight from the Pasela for excellent traction on the pavement, gravel, and dirt trails.
The B-Line is available in 650b x 38mm (38-584 ISO). Black/Tan or Terracotta/Tan. Folding bead. Recommended pressure 55-75 PSI. 380g.
Note: The 650b tire size is sometimes referred to as "27.5 inch." This tire is not compatible with 27 inch, 650c, or 700c wheels.

Fast rolling and comfortable
I got these to try on my 650b Surly Straggler. I have paselas on another bike and I like these a little better. I can lower the pressure enough on the Somas to get a comfortable ride without them feeling like I am wallowing. I also tend to carry a lot back from the store and these have done a great job of providing comfort with overfull panniers while still rolling well. They mount easily and I havent had any flats after a year riding them.

An excellent option for 650B tires
First of all, this is a 650B tire for a 650B wheel. If you don't know what that means then you probably should not order the tire since a 650B wheel is not common.
As for the review, I have ridden these tires for thousands of miles. They smooth out chipseal vibrations and provide a sure and confident grip. The price is competitve. I do get occasional flats but no more than I have gotten on other tires and less than I have gotten on most.
In summary, supple ride, reliable performance, good tread life.

Completely useless.
I bought these for my wife's commuter bike but we cannot use them because she can't get them on or off the rims (Stan's Crest).
Literally useless, they're going in the trash having never been ridden.

Great tire but not bullet-proof from punctures
I have Panaracer Pasela tire for some years in 700 x 32 sizing with excellent results. When I saw Soma had made a similar tire for 650b I purchased a set immediately. These tires roll well, handle well and give a very comfortable ride. I was very happy with them BUT on a wet day I struck a flat in the front tire, followed by one in the rear soon after. Small sliver of glass in both cases. Closer examination of the rear tire there was a 12 inch cut through the tire - I don't know what caused that. So after 300 miles of riding two punctures and a cut. I have invested in a flataway liner and hope this provides a solution to otherwise a great tire.
