For Fast, Hardpack MTB Courses
The original Maxxis Crossmark mountain bike tire set the standard for grip on fast, technical hardpack courses, and the Crossmark II improves on the original platform.
The Maxxis Crossmark II EXO/TR 29in Tire features a near-continuous center ridge which makes the tire roll extremely fast in dry conditions.
Along with the exceptional grip and low rolling resistance, the EXO protection on the Crossmark II prevents most sharp rocks and other trail debris from breaking the tire casing.
Maxxis also made sure the Crossmark II is tubeless-ready so you can lose the inner tube and drop the tire pressure for a smoother, pinch-flat-free ride.
Features

- 60 TPI casing

Good overall tire
I use this as a front tire on the flat Dallas trails. I like that it is fast rolling, but it is really slippy when cornering. Considering putting it in the back with a DHF in the front. Overall, a solid tire though.

Maxxis Crossmark II
1,400 miles on the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route, still in good shape. No flats, or problems. Great grip on a variety of surfaces, loose over hard, DG, road base rock, even some sandy. Excellent tire for all round, add some psi and they roll well on pavement.
