The Giro Tracker Fastlace MTB Shoe checks all the right boxes. The design brief was clear: Create a comfortable, capable flat pedal shoe with the grip and support that recreational, adventure and e-bike riders need to be confident over all kinds of terrain.
It starts by putting the foot closer to the pedal with a flat profile for an optimal contact patch with the pedal surface and pins. A dual-layer EVA midsole provides comfort for off the bike hikes. Finally, the Tack Rubber outsole's highly elastic compound allows it to stretch and form around pedal pins for excellent grip while riding rough, rugged terrain making the Tracker Fastlace an ideal shoe for everyday rides, and epic adventures.

I am fortunate to be pedaling again after a year of bad health. It was best for me to switch to flat pedals after a life of clipless. The Giro Tracker is a great choice for me. It is now my everyday shoe as I ride my touring bike to get around town and possibly the chance to get back to bike touring. The shoe fits me well and is stiff enough for pedaling and comfortable to walk about town too. Yay! I was happy to find a great shoe for me at BikeTiresDirect. Thank you.
I have purchased several types of shoes that I can wear for general purpose and riding, but not specifically for riding. Those shoes were just not appropriate for any kind of cycling. This was a great purchase and I would highly recommend spending the money. The description of the shoe is spot on.
