The Giro Reverb is a fresh take on a classic urban design. The helmet's sleek, minimalist shape compliments today's city cycling style, and the head-turning color options ensure that there's a perfect match for every rider.

The lightweight in-mold shell provides plenty of coverage to resist impact and withstand daily riding abuse. An internal EPS liner and removable brim eliminate the need for a cycling cap, and Giro's AutoLoc fit system provides secure, comfortable and easily adjustable retention. 9 air channeling vents for all-weather comfort.

The Giro Reverb is available in Yellow/Orange Retro, Matte Black, Matte White Grid, Highlight Yellow, Black/Red Retro, and Cyan/White Retro.

Amazingly comfortable and no mushroom head!

I was looking for a casual-looking helmet for my non-training rides and decided to give the Reverb a shot. My two main beefs with other helmets I'd owned were comfort (which is subjective, I know) and the frustrating mushroom look most helmets gave me.

I typically wear a large in Giro, but I can comfortably wear a medium Reverb with the really simple size-adjustment feature. There's no dial on the back to further tighten the helmet, instead, the elastic strap automatically adjusts resulting in a helmet that feels more like a fitted baseball cap than anything else. That's a huge win for me.

The Reverb also seems to have a narrower profile than other road bike helmets I've owned. This makes for a much less ridiculous look while on my head. Admittedly, the style isn't for everyone, but I kind of like this look and it's far less obtrusive than other urban helmets like those from Bern, et al.

A final note, there are very few vents on this helmet, but today's commute in 80 degrees with humidity enough to cause an afternoon thunderstorm left me no more of a mess than my road bike helmet does.

Your mileage may vary, but the combination of comfort, style, and price made this a great purchase for me.

Best value commuter helmet ever

I use a Giro Pneumo for century rides and any other 50mile rides, but for the everyday 20 mile commute riding east into the sun in the morning and west into the sun in the afternoon the Giro Reverb is better. The removeable baseball cap style visorbill is confortable, and washable. Giro provides additional forehead padding when the visor is removed. I often switch out the visor for my cycling caps which fits perfect under the Reverb. The is no unconfortable interferance withthe visor and cycling glasses Its lightweight with good venting

Good helmet at a good price

I bought this helmet to replace a Nutcase helmet after getting in an accident. The Nutcase obviously did it's job, but when I was looking for a replacement, I saw this less expensive helmet and decided to give it a try. I am very pleased with my decision. Aside from the lower cost, this helmet is lighter and more comfortable than my old one. I like having the visor, and in the highlighter yellow color, it's certainly quite visible. This is a great commuter helmet.

Great look and feel - looks just like the picture provided

I bought it for my husband for Christmas. He is a recreational rider and likes the fit and was excited that it actually looked like the picture.

He also likes that the bill can be on or off.

Great commuter helmet

I use this everyday on NYC Citibike bike share. Helmet is comfortable, well vented and best of all has a hard shell it is strapped to my briefcase when not in use so it hits the ground several times a day and takes it all

This Helmet just works

I ride a Tour Easy Recumbent for excersise and just for fun.

My bike Is quite fast so I went out and looked at many helmets, I test rode a few.

This Giro Reverb was for me Instantly comfortable once adjusted and that was key.

I would not wear this or any helmet If It was not comfortable.

I never leave home without it, the small removable sun visor just works, the

strap Is good and so far I have no complaints.

I chose white for visiblilty and to match my white Recumbent.

Best fitting most comfortable I could find and I tried about a dozen brands.

Everybody seems to have racing type helmets and wear spandex.

I go my own way XD

Comfortable and easy all-around lid

The Reverb is very comfortable and easy to adjust. Just a one-time placement of the internal straps and then it's a self-adjusting system that works for normal use and with a head warmer ... no further re-sizing needed. It fits just snug enough to be effective without feeling tight in any way, and the internal retention seems to conform to the shape of my head well.

It's not one that I'd wear for racy riding, necessarily, but I don't really do that anyway. The cap-style brim shades the sun well, but is removable is you don't like it. Good venting, too ... much more than most other similar styles ... and it doesn't make noise in the wind like the Surface model. It's also substantially lighter than the Surface, and lower profile (doesn't look like an equestrian helmet on my head). The colors are nice, but I just got the matte black ... it blends in, rather than drawing attention.

The key evaluation factor for almost every bike-related item is how quickly it's forgotten when riding, and the Reverb is so comfortable that I never think about it. It fits well, doesn't get hot, keeps the sun out of my eyes, and never feels heavy. It's a good value, considering the price of any good helmet these days. Durability is unknown, since it's a new product, but I'm sure it will last plenty long enough. Giro makes good stuff.

Great all-around lid for any non-racing application!

Great looking and feeling helmet.

I love my new Giro helmet. It's comfy and cool and looks good, too. I use it every day commuting to work. I love the little visor. If you guys ever make one with a wider visor, I will buy it. Thanks for protecting my BRAINS!!!

Great Helmet, Solid Product

Great Helmet, this is my very first cycling helmet and so far I'm very happy with this product. I really like the way this product is easy to adjust its fitting. It feels real comfortable while riding very light weight and feels secure. I take it everywhere I go and I feel safer due to its color lime green drivers on the road seem to really be aware of your presence on the road because it catches their eye. I ride in Los Angeles and there is always traffic so a helmet is a must. The materials it's made of are really great and love the removable front cap and spare front pad. Really easy to adapt to if you have never owned a helmet before, I strongly recommend it.

Only helmut my wife will wear

My wife loves this helmut. It fits better for her. Stylish & light. She's an occasional rider and travels at medium or slow speeds. It was bought as a Leader's Club special. Great price and value
