Tackle Any Terrain

The Donnelly X'Plor MSO is a versatile tire is named in honor of the Missoula, Montana airport code, the home of the Adventure Cycling Association. It's designed for on or off-road adventures with an understated center tread that rolls quickly on pavement while increasing traction on dirt and gravel roads. Chunky side knobs have been lifted from the PDX cross tire to bite down in loose conditions and inspire confidence in corners. The result is a tire that's ready for virtually any riding conditions you might encounter.

The Donnelly X'Plor MSO features a 60 TPI casing. 65-90 recommended PSI. Folding bead. 700c x 32mm, 36mm, 40mm or 50mm. 485 grams.

Donnelly Tires were previously known as Clement tires, but due to a licensing have had to change their name. If you have used Clement tires in the past, Donnelly has retained the molds, compounds, and materials.

Features:

  • Smooth-rolling center knobs and aggressive shoulder lugs
  • Soft rubber compound for extra grip and shock absorption
  • Integrated puncture protection belt under the tread
  • 700 x 40mm

Great tire and Value

This tire is perfect replacement on my gravel bike. The tire rolls well on pavement and has plenty of traction on other surfaces.

Couldnt get them to seal

I wanted to use them Tubeless, but I couldnt get them to hold air. I finally went with Maxxis and they were easy to inflate and hold air!

Fast rolling, yet grippy on dirt and gravel

The MSO is a Goldilocks tire: not super light, but not heavy either. Fast rolling, but you wont mistake it for a road tire. Grippy on graveldirt but very well mannered on the road. So its in the middlewhich makes it a great choice for a 5050 graveltarmac ride. I mounted these on my Diverge and have done several rides up Lief Erickson and Saltzman, finishing the loop down Germantown and Willamette. Leifs been a little squishy this spring, but the MSOs did great and gave me a lot of confidence. And while Im not PRing on Willamette, they roll great and their plenty fast enough. Overall I really like these tires and would recommend them.
