Now available with a Nylon casing, the Grifo Race is one of Challenge's most affordable 'cross clinchers to date. Its tread combines a tried and true tread pattern with the versatility and ease of use of a clincher that's perfect for training across a variety of conditions. Low profile knobs are great on fast grass courses and hard packed gravel/dirt, but aggressive enough for mud. At 120 threads per inch, and a respectable 330g weight, the Grifo Race won't slow you down in competition either, making it an excellent affordable all-arounder.
The Giro Race is available in 700c x 32mm (33-622 ISO). It's available in black with a folding bead and 120 TPI casing. Challenge lists a claimed weight of 330g, and the recommended pressure range is 40-75 PSI.

good for loose gravel, dirt, and muddy terrain
I just got a Focus Paralane gravel bike that came with clement x plore mso tires. With all the rain we've had , they didn't give me the traction I needed so I got the challenge grifo .The tread is aggressive enough for loose rock and climbing up muddy hills. I have to ride pavement 3-6 miles to get to the different trails I ride and they roll pretty well getting there. I have 200 miles on them and they still look almost new.
