I am using this as the rear tire on a long wheelbase recumbent. It replaces a 1.5 inch high pressure tire that just was a bit choppy ride. Adding this larger 1.95 tire allows me to go lower pressure, good cushy ride now. Tire was modestly challenging to mount, a tight fit on the rim, once mounted centered and runs true.
The longer saga was with the front tire 406, went from 1.5 inch up to 1.75 inch, a Schwalbe Green Marathon, reflective as well. Never can be too safe.

The marshmallow man (the beloved french character, not the techno dj) is back with the latest of installment of the Pro Race series we *ALL* know and love. Fast as a monegasque card dealer, grippy like a classic Cotes du Rhone, buttery smooth like baby's first beurre blanc. Ca va bien mes amis....Ca va tres bien!

I've used these on my commuter for 16 months and over 1200 miles.
They roll fast, stop fast, are surprisingly sticky for a tire in this price range and I haven't had one flat since mounting them. And while acknowledging I should have replaced them 300 miles ago, I did not expect to have the sidewall completely blowout on a 40 mph decent.
Fortunately I didn't go down, but I did have to walk my bike 4 miles back to my shop as a tire change was not an option.
I've read a few other reviews where the sidewalls have been at issue and with far less mileage then I'd logged. I'd be curious if those who'd experienced a similar failure purchased their tires from the same lot as mine which was 2422578151.
If not for that one questionable issue, I'd have given these a 5 star rating hands down!

I have now used these on two different Mountain Bikes, and my wife's city bike. I am blown away at how perfect they are for combination, city and country riding. They roll easy, very easy. And the traction is always there. They are also lighter than most tires this size. I ride old dirt canal roads a lot and these Michelin Country Rocks do everything well. As an experiment, I tried a hard rocky trail that should require real MTB tires, but these did just fine. Never had a flat, either. No complaints at all.
