As described, this is a useful item to have in your tool drawer or even in your seat pack. If you run tubeless, it's great to have for removing valve cores so you can add sealant without breaking a good bead seal. It's pretty basic and does what it is supposed to. Nothing fancy. Small, and easily lost, so putting a colored zip tie through it can help you keep track of it.

I now buy tubes with removable valve cores because I have bent so many and hate to throw a good tube away because of a bent valve. This tool is cheap and effective at removing and inserting valves, simple.

This is a great little tool to have around and to carry on rides. Certain pumps tend to pull the tube valve core out when one disconnects the pump. This puts just enough torque on the core, if you have to tighten it. Also, if one uses valve stem extenders due to deep cross section wheels and,one a ride, if he/she finds they only have short stem tube this tool can be used to pull the core out of the short stem tube and even tighten the extension on. Don't leave home without it!
