The downsides: The allen keys are long, longer than I'd prefer. Also, I have no use for the 10mm, 8mm, and 6mm keys. Exluding them would lower the price, make the assembly smaller, and lighter.

The upsides: The keys are properly sized. I've had too many cheaper allen keys that were slightly undersized and would lead to stripping of bolt heads. Also, I'm tired of all the allen keys for sale having ball ends. The ball ends strip the bolt heads. These Silca straight ends fit snugly in the bolt heads.

These hex wrenches are fabulous and so worthwhile. They fit extremely precisely, and the tools themselves haven't rounded at all after about 2 years of use. The precise fit is especially appreciated on the smaller sizes. I'm really impressed by these and I can't see myself switching to anything else any time soon for careful work.

I had been using PXXro's so-called professional set for the last few years. Occasionally they would slip and still do. As soon as I inserted a Silca Hex key, I no longer had that problem. They must be manufactured to a higher tolerance. Well worth the price. You will be able to turn those bolts knowing that you are not simultaneously stripping the insides. Invest in tools!
