It is for my wife and she loves it. It gets dark early this time of year and it helps with safety when she walks with it. The fit allows layering for at least a three month garment. I paid extra for the hood and it came in handy yesterday during a pop-up rain. We both think the 360 degree reflective material is valuable. doing business was a cinch and I earned points!
I was looking for a warm and dry jacket for my 10 mile commute to work. Nice and roomy, keeps me dry and if anything I'm a little too warm but I wanted a jacket that would be suitable for all winter riding in the Pacific Northwest. There are side zips for ventilation which is nice. I read reviews referring to sleeves leaking but the only time I got even a drop of water inside it was pouring, the wind was blowing right into the side zips and after 10 miles I had a spot about the size of a quarter where the underarm zipper meets. Giving the conditions I was impressed that I wasn't wetter. The rest of me was soaked through.
Very happy with my jacket, thanks!
I have nothing bad to say about this jacket. When this jacket was designed a lot of thought was put into it. The length of the back and sleeves give me the coverage I need when riding. The reflective tape on the arms, and the bright colors for the jacket. I know I can be seen better by people in vehicles. The cut is generous enough to layer under the jacket, and the waterproof material does the job to keep me dry.
I am a woman bicyclist in Alaska, and have used this jacket probably 10 times already. It is very waterproof and breathes well enough for the colder weather we have here. I am 5'7 and the Medium fits me well. The back is a bit longer than other jackets for bicycling, but not too long to look odd. I love it. Great winter and rainy weather jacket. Lots of great reflective tape, and my favorite color yellow.
