Tbey showed up at our door in a timely manner. They were easy to mount. My wife is pleased with the way they roll on asphalt, very little rolling resistance. We spend most of our time on paved trails these days, but i think these will work well when we ride forestry roads and easy off road trails.

Immediately noticed a significant reduction in rolling resistance. No noticeable loss of traction in wet conditions, sand, etc. I added heavy-duty tubes about a year ago and have had no flats to date. I usually try to keep them inflated to around 65 psi and only need to re-inflate every three to four weeks. I would recommend these tires for anyone who needs a good all-around tire for a reasonable price.

Review by Douglas KReviewed 2/15/2021by Douglas K805Bike Path PerfectionThese replaced the balloon 2.5" tires on my bmx cruiser that were just too slow. The narrower 1.75", high psi, and grippy tread are optimal. Price was good too, very pleased.

She generally gets 4-6K on them if I rotate. Lately, I've just been replacing the rear when the tread gets thin enough to make broken glass an issue. Stan's No Tubes works really well even though these are not rated as tubeless.
For gnarly riding, we switch wheel sets to Richey off road rubber.

Review by franksjReviewed 5/1/2017by franksj2 of 2 customers found this review helpful.Love these tiresLove these tires. Low rolling resistance, and very good traction on wet & dry pavement and dirt. Replaced a hybrid tire that was slick with side knobs. This is quieter, with better traction. With lower pressure a very comfortable ride. Couldn't be more pleased with this upgrade.

This product meets and exceeds that expectation. I am in the process of converting my mountain into like a hybrid. I can now move forward with this project because the tires was a concern of mine. Quality fer sure!

These are a pretty good all around tire for riding short or long distance in the city. The only downfall is that they tend to collect a lot of small rocks in the grooves if you go on a trail. I got mine on this site as a clearance item and at that price I would buy many more. They are now back up to about [$] or so last time I checked.

She was struggling with the hills. I got her the Country Rocks and she mounted them (easy to mount - it was her first experience changing tires) and started flying up the hills. If you want to convert from singletrack to pavement, get these tires. And at this price, they're worth having on hand for your mountain bike for when a change-out makes sense.

Review by Mr. JaysunReviewed 8/8/2013by Mr. JaysunCasual CyclistMA6 of 6 customers found this review helpful.Wow! Virtually silenced my bike... And fast rollingI mostly ride on street with an occasional trip on a trail. I replaced my Specialized Enduro 26x2.20 aggressive off road tires with a set of theses. Visually it was a bit shocking shaving off nearly a half inch of width....I'll get used to it. (Already have) .
My first ride with these tires was in the rain. Excellent grip on wet asphalt, cornered with confidence. So smooth and silent, fast rolling compared to my knobbies, it was like riding a new bike.
Haven't ridden any trails yet... I'll review the off-road capabilities at a later date. But for MTB/street, I HIGHLY Recomend these tires.
