Review by JerryReviewed 3/14/2017by JerryFront Range Colorado1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. One of my favoritesEssential part of 3 layer riding down to 0F. Perfect on it's own for high 40's to mid 50's. I wear it for almost every morning ride.
So comfortable I forget to take it off or just wear it as a shirt. It does fit loose, but it doesn't flap in the wind. Definitely worth the money.

The cuffs and collar are made with cotton. This means the cuffs and collar don't wick. At all.
I wouldn't recommend this jersey until they change the cuffs and collar.

Also wore on 100 mile ride in iffy weather and again comfy - not too hot and breathes better than tech fibers. I bought orange medium (medium sometimes tight but this was not).

Review by PerryReviewed 5/15/2012by PerryCycling EnthusiastN. of Seattle8 of 8 customers found this review helpful.Well made and comfyI typically wear a large and this jersey in a large fits perfectly, (meaning loose enough to be comfortable, not aero), even after multiple washings. It is thin enough to wear up to about 65 degrees with the sleeves pushed up. I combined it with layers for temps of about 53 or less. The feel of the merino wool is very soft without any hint of itchiness.
I purposely wore it longer without washing to test the odor control and it only continued to have a slight wool smell.
All that and it's made in the USA!

I really like this jersey. It is great for those cool mornings or light sprinkles. And if I don't have time to hit the showers before my first meeting at work, I don't have to worry about smelling like I didn't have time to hit the showers before my first meeting.
It's a bit pricey but wool is hot right now so companies can get us to pay it.

My first one is over 30 years old, a little faded a few moth holes but still fits and keeps me warm like only wool will do. Pockets that have been overstuffed repeatedly over the years, remain as tight as my new one. I actually was looking for something a little flashier, but you can't beat the price and the wear value. The deciding factor - it's made in the USA! My new Kucharik (large) has a longer front zipper for better venting ability. The fit, like my old one is perfect allowing for additional under layers without getting stretched out of shape ( I am 5'11 with a 32 inch waist line and a 40 inch chest) . The quality and workmanship is as good as my old one which means I will be buried in it, nah that would be a waste of a fine product. Thanks Kucharik!

Review by LizFReviewed 11/17/2014by LizFCycling EnthusiastDallas, tX6 of 6 customers found this review helpful. My favorite winter jersey!I bought my first 2 Kucharik merino jerseys for my hubbie & me to wear on the tandem. This is one of the few men's jerseys that actually fit (it's got a little stretch to the knit). The wool is soft & comfy and nothing beats merino for feeling dry even when you're sweating. I wash & dry (on ultra-low) my jersey. There may have been a smidge of shrinking with the first washing. I live in Dallas, TX. 40 degrees is our personal cut-off. (Stop laughing you Northerners!). I wear this jersey with 2 base layers (both lightweight merino - 150 gr weight). Unless it's really windy, this is usually sufficient. Love this jersey so much, I bought 2 more this year!

Review by ausablerivReviewed 5/7/2015by ausablerivCycling EnthusiastUpstate NY2 of 2 customers found this review helpful.Very Comfortable and the needed warmth for cooler days.I really like this product. For starters sizing is true to US standards. I'm 6',180 and always wear a large tee shirt. I found large was the right size with this jersey as well. When ordering clothing manufactured by the Italian designers (e.g. Santini and Campagnolo) I always go a size larger.
I like the length of this jersey as well for cool weather. It's longer then other jersey's I own and find the large rear pockets very accessible. If you're looking for skin tight this is not the jersey for you. On the other hand if you are looking for a comfortable fit with room for an additional layer underneath this should be considered. The quality seems first rate. I ordered it in orange and found that it is a bit duller then the Campagnolo jersey I own. This is the only small complaint I have. If you want Italian styling go Campy, if you want comfort and function consider this one.

I ordered a medium which usually fits me but this is much larger then that. I was hoping that washing it in warm water and putting it in the dryer would shrink it some but it didn't help.
Good quality construction and not itchy considering that it is wool.

Review by RayTheBikeReviewed 2/2/2015by RayTheBikeCycling EnthusiastSan Francisco1 of 1 customers found this review helpful.Good quality wool jerseyI bought this jersey to replace one I'd worn out. The other one was a bit lighter than this one. I've worn the new one several times and it is comfortable and doesn't smell after all the consecutive wear. It has been fine in January in San Francisco but might be a bit thick for summer wear in warm climes.

This will be a good layering jersey under my wind-stop layer for cold winter mornings. It is good quality for the price.

Review by AnonymousReviewed 5/23/2014by AnonymousCycling EnthusiastMid-Atlantic USA3 of 3 customers found this review helpful.Great for longer ridesFor me, this long-sleeve wool jersey is usually used on longer rides of, say, 60-plus miles in temperatures up to about 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Depending on the coldest temperature for the day, I may have 1-3 (wool) layers underneath. The wool material in this jersey regulates the body temperature pretty well, does not itch, and does not stink like synthetic materials. The simple one-color jersey design may not be for everybody but it works for me.

Review by Badger riderReviewed 12/25/2017by Badger riderDaily CommuterWisconsin Keeps me very warm when winter biking or cross country skiing.I like this jersey because it is a heavier weight than most base layer wool products. It definitely smells less after several consecutive days of riding which makes it ideal for a commuter.

Review by CrudcakeReviewed 12/19/2017by CrudcakeCycling EnthusiastKansasGood mid-layer wool jersey. I use this for endurance riding. The XL is a bit short for me at 62 and 200 lbs, but it fits fine. Good quality build, as well.

Review by OneOfThoseOldDudesThatsBeenRidingForeverReviewed 10/6/2017by OneOfThoseOldDudesThatsBeenRidingForeverPortlandSolidWell made, good fit, great price. Just a decent lunch pail wool jersey. Perfect for winter commuting. Its got some quirks, the neck is a bit tight on me with the zipper all the way up. It hangs a bit below my jacket. The fit is relaxed, which isnt perfect, but isnt terrible.
Big, deep, reinforced pockets. Half zipper is long enough to get real airflow when you need it. Not flashy or blazoned with logo mania. The wool is good, but not as soft as my old swobos.
But, it does the job, its built to last, its generally comfortable, its wool (which is the way to go imho), and the price cant be beat.

Review by OnmybikeReviewed 4/3/2017by OnmybikeOlympia, WAGreat midweight jerseyThere are better colors and better-fitting jerseys out there, but not for this price. This jersey is soft, warm, and a medium fits me well. I'm 5'8 155 lbs.

Hi,
Thanks for your review! According to Kucharik, this jersey is in fact 100% wool, including the cuffs and collars, though they are knit differently (ribbed). We'd love to help you out with a return if you're not satisfied with your jersey. Just get in touch with our customer service department at [email protected].
Thanks, Stacia
