I've used Assos chamois cream for years. Because of the price, I've tried others, but always come back and purchase several when I find a reasonable deal.

I've tried several chamois cremes over the years and the Assos product is the only one that did not cause an allergic reaction. Admittedly, I'm allergic to a lot of things but it was nice to find a product I could use.

I have tried numerous creams, by far Assos is the best for lasting performance.

Assos Chamois Creme is thick and has staying power. However, you need to know that its 4 oz. jar is half the size of the 8 oz jars of Eurostyle Chamois ButtR, Enzos, etc. so it generally costs TWICE as much. I like the Assos, but the Eurostyle is also thick and protects on long rides ... and regular ol' Chamois ButtR still works great for 2 hour rides, and I can squeeze some in a small container to apply on the road if needed. I wouldn't get Assos again unless it is deeply discounted.

Assos Chamois Creme last longer than others, and a little goes a long way. It is expensive, but I think it's benefits outweigh the cost.

The best of the chamois lubes.
Stays on for a long time and eliminates chafing.

I don't do a ride without chamois creme, call me a baby but it is a fact. Assos is the best product out there but a bit on the steep price side. The menthol is a bit of a shock on a cold morning but the benefits definately outweight the shock value.

I ride 9000 miles a Year now that I am retired. This Asso creme is by far superior to butter .

I have used a lot of different brands of chamois cremes but nothing comes close to Assos. It costs a little more but is worth every penny. It lasts longer and has that tingling feeling that just flat out make you feel competitive.

Applies nicely directly to the chamois, keeps things comfortable, and washes out nicely. Very happy with this cream. I wish they offered in small packets so I could take extra on super long rides

Does the job but I find it works best when applied to both the skin and the chamois, I still find myself getting irritated when I only apply this to my skin.

Expensive but what's your butt worth in the long run. Great consistency and scent.

I never used a Chamois Creme until a few years ago. Now I dont ride without using it. Makes a long day in the saddle much more tolerable.

I have more problems than most with the effects of being in the saddle, in part because I put in 16-28 hour weeks on the bike consistently. I have tried most of the major brands and while I hate paying for it, assos is probably my favorite. I should also say that I had been using Hammer, which I liked but it is just a bit too thick and gritty and I reached a day where I could no longer tolerate the smell. I am also currently auditioning Betwixt which has a lot of potential and I may switch to it from Assos. Assos has an almost mousse-like texture, not liquidy like Chamois Buttr. This seems like a relatively ideal consistency for staying on, though I do still re-apply once on a 3 hour ride. It also has no smell and washes out of clothes really well. On the minus side, I can't totally tell, but it might have a little menthol in it, which is not something I love.
