Pioneer's Dura-Ace 9000 Power Meter Crankset combines innovative force-measurement technology with Shimano's top-tier crank for the ultimate in race and training performance. At the core of Pioneer's Power Meter System are dual strain gauges (one for each crank) that measure force vectors every 30° of crank rotation. This means 12 points of measurement for each leg every pedal stroke, and, when used in combination with Pioneer's Touchscreen Cycle-Computer, the information is used to display real-time pedaling efficiency to show not only how much power the rider outputs, but how much of it is effectively used or is merely wasted. When used with any other ANT+ capable cycle-computer, power numbers are available according to the features of the paired computer.
The Pioneer Power Meter System adds just 64 g to the weight of a Dura-Ace 9000 crankset for a total claimed weight of 707 g. Estimated operating time is 180 hours on two CR2032 batteries. Available in multiple crank lengths and chainring options.
