The Pioneer Shimano Dura Ace R9100 Left Leg Power Meter Crank adds force-measurement technology in a directly replacement for the standard non-drive arm on Shimano Dura Ace 9000 or 9100 cranksets. Pioneer’s Lightweight Power Sensor measures force vectors every 30° of crank rotation. This means 12 points of measurement every pedal stroke, and, when used in combination with Pioneer’s Touchscreen Cycle-Computer, the information is used to display real-time pedaling efficiency to show not only how much power the rider outputs, but how much of it is effectively used or is merely wasted. When used with any other ANT+ capable cyclo-computer, power numbers are available according to the features of the paired computer.
The Pioneer Lightweight Power Sensor adds just 22 g to the standard weight of the crank arm for a total weight of 219 g. Estimated operating time is 180 hours on one user-replaceable CR2032 battery. Available in multiple lengths.
Note: The power sensor adds 9 mm to the inside width of the standard crank arm, which may cause interference on some frames. Please measure before installation to ensure compatibility and prevent frame / component damage.

Works well and the price is right
I bought this to put on my road bike as a cheaper option for a power meter. I spend more time on my tri bike (I have a Quarq on that and its great) and use the road bike in the off season or for causal rides, group rides or when I want that KOM.
Since this one only takes your left side into account, the accuracy may be off a touch. For my application, that is totally acceptable. And to be honest, Im not sure I really noticed much difference. Installation is super easy since you dont have to make sure the B.B. works, or get the right adapters. Just pull off the left crank, put this on and done. It syncs with my Garmin Forerunner 935 ANT and havent had any issues with it dropping out of losing a connection.
So far, so good.
