Great tire for the $...
I bought this tire as a training tire and have had 0 flats in the first 300 miles. I've even picked shards of glass out of the tread, but no tears, splits or punctures. I've also noticed these tires don't bleed much, still at 105 psi after the ride. If you're concerned about discoloration, I have the white stripe and although you have to be vigilant about cleaning, it still whitens nicely.
These babies are not that heavy either. A couple weeks ago before a race, I was putting on my racing tires I won't name, but are about 4x the price and noticed a fatal side wall puncture in the tire, and that's after only 100 miles. That tire went on my bike lab's wall of shame and I had no choice but to race in the Fiammante's. Man am I glad I did. The course was rough and as others were going for the wheel truck, I was at a steady 120psi.
