Used them during 2009 RAAM and loved them.
I had been using Michelin Krylions. I'm a bigger guy at 200 lbs. and find a 700X25 tire very comfortable. I was having a hard time finding the Krylion in that size. I bought 10 of these Vittori Rubinos for my training and racing in this year's 2009 2-man RAAM. The 700X25 Vittoria is much lighter than the Michelin in that size. During 8000 miles of training this year on these tires, I had no flats! During RAAM I rode a little over 1500 miles in just over 7 days and had only 1 flat. These tires have a fantastic ride, wear very, very well and seem nearly bullet proof. I'm sticking with these and not going back to Michelin. We set a new RAAM record in the 2-man, 50-59 age division and these tires did the trick for me. Love 'em!

Handles well in all conditions, wears like iron.
I've been using these tires as everyday training tires and for the weekly club races for the past 2 years. I've also use them on occasion in criteriums and road races where the road conditions are less than ideal. The handling is predictable and I find them to be very duarable as well. They can take quite a beating. IMO they are a good choice for trainingracing. They are not the lightest tire out there, but who cares.

Very Durable
Can't miss with these tires in terms of performance training. Many a tube has gone to its final resting place while these tires just keep rollin on. You won't be disappointed. If you like ridding hard and long, this is your tire.

Don't fear the 28c size -- great tire
Don't fear the 28c size, as it actually measures about 26.5mm at 100psi. It's also light, mine were about 250 grams, each. This is a great tire, and at close-out pricing of $35each, it's a steal. I wish I could buy 10 of them...in fact, maybe I will.
This tire has been durable and comfortable for tarmacgravel adventure rides. Seems surprisingly fast for a 'big' tire. No complaints, just with the newer Rubino Pro III was available in a 28c.

punctures a habit?
Commuting, sight-seeing, road races. Front tyre punctures almost every month with 70-73kg within 50kmh smooth metalled roads
