Description
Vittoria's fastest clincher steps up to an incredible 320 TPI casing.
Features the Kevlar® SiO2 3D compound with added silica for reduced rolling resistance and better grip in the wet. Corespun 320 tpi casing provides a lighter and more supple ride.
The very high thread density of 320 tpi ensures maximum comfort even at high inflation pressures, while the added Kevlar® provides increased puncture resistance, durability, and grip.
The PRB 2.0 puncture resistant belting placed under the tread makes the Corsa EVO CX exceptionally reliable yet light.

Pure silk
I can only imagine how Aladdin felt. Whipping past the pyramids, shredding through the market place, blazing past the lagoons. His ride was the smoothest, riding on air the finest silk, and a touch of magic. This tire is my magic carpet. So supple and smooth, the best ride quality I have ever felt aside from the tubular version.

Upgrades the ride quality on any fast bike
The smoother ride is absolutely noticeable. It's tougher to mount and nicks more easily than most. The soft compound is good for about 1500mi on the rear. If you don't mind investing in tires more often, these add a "wow" factor in ride quality.

Fast and supple
They roll noticeably faster and smoother than any other clinchers I've ridden. I'm not sure that I sense the higher thread count 320 tpi, current version, vs. 290 tpi, old, but the new model shows a very noticeable improvement in flat resistance and casing durability without sacrificing any grip in the corners. I no longer see the cuts I've always associated with Vittoria tires and no longer worry about riding them on gravel. They are expensive but not overpriced.

Now I know how a
Ninety-five percent of my riding is on moderate and steep climbs and fast descents. The Open Corsa is the smoothest riding and grippiest tire I have experienced to date. With my 145 pound weight, I run 120 psi but it feels like a nice, soft 80 psi only with very little rolling resistance. My low value rating is due to the fact that I only got 400 miles of life from the rear tire because of the continual climbing. I did get 1200 miles from the front tire with more life left, though the sidewalls are showing their age. I noticed quite a few small cuts even though I avoid road debris as much as possible.
I used to get at least 1000 miles on the rear from Michelin Pro2. I'm switching to a longer lasting training tire.
