Tufo Jet Special Tubular Tire

I have used these tires for almost one year in races and fast rides, putting about 1,500 miles on one set. They are smooth and fast! Inflation to 140-150 lbs is typical for me in races on smooth courses, and I haven't experienced any harshness except on rough roads. They wear extremely well, and I have only had one puncture.

From a reference standpoint I have ridden Conti Competitions for 15 years. These tires performed outstanding in a 40K duathlon course that felt like I was riding on the potholed streets of Chicago. Very durable, was able to take the abuse that quite a few other racers tires did not take. I stupidly inflated the tires to 165psi and the surface temperature was hovering around 85 degrees at transition. Of course at that inflation the bumps were outrageously painful and the smooth sections became incredibly fast. Handling was a wonder, even on a Trek timetrial frame, through the 5 180 degree turn-arounds and countless switchbacks.
