Tufo Extreme Temp Gluing Tape

I suppose the best one can hope for in any tubular tape or glue is "it doesn't fail". I've never had any problems or even the slightest indication of ungluing with this tape but to go one further it's EASY.

This tape is so easy to apply that even the first time you ever SEE a tubular tire it will be easier to put on than a clincher. It's total cake and only takes minutes. It's even usable on the side of a road in the middle of nowhere.

Doesn't muck up your wheels doesn't get crud on your hands. Did I mention it's easy?

I bought a set of tubular wheels a number of years ago before Tufo introduced their glue tape. After a half dozen times spending hours gluing the tires on and cleaning up the resulting mess, I finally gave up and sold them.

When I saw the Tufo glue tape, I decided to give them another try. Wow, what a difference. With the plastic backing, it's a piece of cake to mount a tire. Wrap the tape around the rim while removing the backing similar to wrapping bar tape. Then mount the tire with the plastic backing still on the tire side of the tape, get it all nicely aligned, then pull the backing tape out from under the tire. Inflate, and you're ready to go. As long as you don't ride TOO hard during the first few hours, the tape is rock solid. No muss, no fuss.

In fact, the only thing to complain about is how hard it is to get the tire back off. This stuff STICKS.
