Description The Tufo C S3 Lite tubular-clincher road race tire is specifically designed for use in road and stage races and triathlon. Unique construction is based on the width of the tire tread. Wide tread overlaps and protects the sidewall against damage. Underneath the tread is a puncture-proof ply, colored differently than the tread, serving also as a tread wear indicator. Right under the puncture proof ply is a breaker consisting of rubber cord composite with circumferential orientation. The breaker further shields the tire against punctures and significantly contributes to lowering the rolling resistance.
Thread count underneath the tread - 305 tpi. 700x21. 115-220 psi. 275g. Tubular clincher.

Light, Fast, and Reliable...so far.
Bought these lightweight, high PSI tires for speed and climbing ease and I feel they give me a noticeable edge. I ride in triathlons, centuries, and endurance LOTOJA races in Rock Mountain states. I've logged over 700 miles with these tires that includes rough chip-seal, some good potholes, and a nasty gravel road or two - all with no flats so far. My only concern is that since this is a tubeless tire, I can't just carry a lightweight tube to fix a flat, I need to carry a spare tire but I don't. I usually ride at 175 psi. I weigh 190. Overall, I would buy these tires again.
