The Carbon-Core series of wheels employs a unique wheel construction where carbon fiber and Kevlar spokes span all across the diameter of the wheel through a thermoplastic carbon hub shell. The design is remarkably strong, light, and smooth-riding. Includes Ti Skewers. Weight 1360g.

Great long-distance wheelset - super comfortable

I''ve owned these wheels for two years now and they have behaved flawlessly. They are the most comfortable set of wheels I''ve owned and are incredibly light for the money. I weigh a little over 200lbs and have ridden these wheels in a variety of terrains. They are my go-to wheelset for long-distance tours since they ride so smooth even on bad chip-seal pavement. I''ve put several thousand miles on these wheels and so far they have been bullet-proof.

These are not super-stiff racing wheels, so if you are looking for a wheel that will not flex at all, these are probably not your best choice. But if you''re looking for a wheel that is reasonably fast, very responsive, and super-smooth, this is a great choice.
