For models BC 1106DTS, BC 1606LDTS, 1706HR and BC2006MHR automatic bike detection is possible via an additional second DTS bike transmitter. The bike computer recognizes whether it is fixed to a racing bike or mountain bike, for example. This saves conversion or buying a second device and provides easy access to the data saved for each bike. (Includes o-rings, mount, and power magnet)

I have not had much luck with this device. The sensor does not transmit the speed to the computer. All suggestions have been checked out. Nothing seems to work. This is the second time.

Last year I had a similar concern. The bike shop replaced the computer etc. I am now having a similar problem with the speed sensor. Battery power is up, distance between magnet and transmitter is as suggested. the elastic band does not work on my new bike as it has contoured frame
