Shimano Dura-Ace WH-7850-C50-TU Tubular Wheelset

Shimano doesn't usually jump on the bandwagon with the latest gimmicks, but instead carefully looks at emerging technology to create incredibly high-performance and reliable components. They have shown this by only now adding carbon to Dura-Ace components and also with their wheels. Their WH-7850-C50-TU 50mm deep carbon tubular wheel isn't the lightest out there but remains incredibly strong, durable, maintainable, and stiff. Their racing merits also continue to be proven by pro riders.

Stiffness is further increased using hubs with an oversize 15mm axle and super-wide rear flanges. They also feature serviceable and smooth angular contact bearings. More traditional and serviceable straight pull double butted and bladed spokes are used with red alloy nipples. Titanium freehub body is Shimano/SRAM 8/9/10 speed compatible. Three year warranty. Includes quick release skewers, carbon compound brake inserts, wheel magnet, two spoke tools, and valve extenders. Cassette lockring not included. Weight: 1470 gram wheelset (weighed without skewers).
