Customer Rating

A fast race tire with Double Defense technology for incredible puncture resistance. The first defense is the HD ceramic belt which is very tough and contains ceramic particles which actually help dull sharp objects. The second defense is 'Snake Skin,' which improves puncture protection in the shoulders and sidewalls. Triple Nano Compound features low rolling resistance in the center and improved grip in the shoulders. 115 PSI Max. All Black. 700c x 23mm (23-622 ISO) or 700c x 25mm (25-622 ISO). 252 grams.

no flats

use the tires for my triathlon bike. wanted a bullit proff tire, doent want to be fixing a flat when racing. I road about 1000 miles on the tires only one flat a goat head, I ride in the country and the roads are not to good, lot of pot holes rocks and goat heads. I be down with flats and Im not going to have it if I can help it, so the price is O.K. if they hold up!! So far they have been great. I just orderd another set.

Best tire I've ridden

Not as plush or as light as a Vittoria Open Corsa, but hands down better than any of the Contis and Hutchinsons I've ridden. Very comfortable for all day rides. Great and confidence inspiring when screaming down mountain passes at 50 mph and barreling into switchback corners with plenty of grip...works well in the wet though there is no tread so I tend to ride much more conservatively.

I originally bought these because I had tried everything else and nothing held up to the roads I train on lots of gravel, rough roads, goat heads, etc. Had flats all the time until these...Haven't had a flat on them after close to 1,500 miles though the tread belt show ample signs of cuts and scrapes, the protective belt is doing its job and well. They wear very well, especially if you rotate them...I've got plenty of tire left.

If I rode on perfect roads with no glass or gravel, I would ride the Open Corsas. But in the real world I can't imagine of and haven't ridden a better tire than these.
