SRAM 2010 Force Rear Derailleur

The SRAM Force group received a face lift for 2010 lightening the group a bit and adding striking yet classy white graphics. The one 'function over aesthetics' change that was made to the rear derailleur however is in the use of unidirectional carbon for the pulley cage rather than carbon weave. The unidirectional carbon saves a bit of weight and stiffens the cage. The rest of the derailleur still has the same great design that SRAM road rear derailleurs have become known for. This involves a fixed B-position, eliminating a weak spring, and then further strengthening the remaining two springs. Exact Actuation still offers incredibly reliable shifting with uniform cog spacing and derailleur movement that matches the amount of cable pulled. Titanium hardware further lightens the aluminum, magnesium, and carbon body construction. Compatible with Standard and Compact Cranks and a 28 tooth max rear cog. 173 grams.
