Easy to read and works great!
Great computer and comes with a good bracket. Other computers like Cateyes have the cheapest brackets and just feel flimsy plus they are hard to read. I prefer computers that are simple to operate with big buttons. I would have gave it five stars but it comes with a 24 hour clock. Would have been better if they would have made a 12 clock option.

I'll keep it
Like the design/functions. It only gets 3 stars because the magnet was weak which required VERY close proximity to the detector/transmitter or the speedo wouldn't get the signal consistently and gave inconsistent readouts without perfect alignment of the magnet/detector unit mounted on the fork. I changed it for the much stronger magnet from an old 'Cateye' speedo that I had saved. Now the unit works great and I like it better than Cateyes I've had. The unit survived a hard crash with just scratches.

Update to my review of 3-14 of the VDO
Ten days after my initial review the VDO is now malfunctioning. I will ask BTD to take it back in trade on a different brand. Maybe my crash a month ago was too much for it. Still, over the years I used CATEYEs I've crashed multiple times and the units never failed. I still like the displayfunction of the VDO but, for whatever reason, I want a speedoputer at least as durable as me.
