Get a little more stopping power out of your 'cross rig with the CX9 Mini Linear Pull Brakes.
TRP's unique design is compatible with most lever types and provides huge amounts of stopping power when the grades get steep or when your bike is loaded with enough gear to get you to the next continent. The low profile stance doesn't interfere with panniers, racks or your legs during critical race transitions and maintains effective mud shedding abilities.
The forged and CNC machined TT6 brake arms are strong and lightweight, and the addition of Ti hardware brings the weight down even more. Deluxe cable noodles with integrated barrel adjusters offer easy on-the-fly adjustments TRP's road sized cartridge holders make it easy to track down replacement pads.
The CX9 Brakes are designed for the cable pull on newer Shimano STI levers. For other road levers we recommend the CX8.4. This set includes front and rear brakes, complete mounting hardware and TRP Alloy compound pads. Available in Black and Red. 149 grams per wheel.

Crazy strong stopping power
Amazing stopping power, almost too much, in fact. Some folks say there's not enough clearance for 'cross, but you can maximize the clearance by setting them up so that they make contact with the rim just prior to bottoming out the lever travel and they'll still stop you. If you're using them on a touring bike, they're probably the best possible choice available.

Excellent choice for commuting or cross with great clearance to remove wheels.
I got these brakes to use on my CX bike that I also commute on to replace some Tektro center pull brakes and noticed a big difference in stopping power. I had to set the clearance pretty tight so you've gotta keep on top of truing your wheels but they definitely have plenty of grab. It's also nice that they open up wide enough to get a wide CX tire in an out without changing the cable tension and have a barrel adjuster for setting the tension while out riding. Other than disc brakes these are the best off-road brake I've tried.

WOW - Who needs disks if you have these???
Yes, the clearance is tighter than typical Cantis. But, the stopping power is amazing. I am now glad i did NOT go with disk brakes on the CX bike this year. I can use all my old wheels AND have the stopping power of a disk brake.
