Topolino TrueBlack CTR 2.0 Clincher Wheelset

Topolino revolutionized the bicycle wheel with their carbon/kevlar spokes which created an incredibly light yet strong and stiff wheel with great dampening properties. Now with their TrueBlack series they have added 50 percent greater carbon content to their spokes for increased tensile strength and lateral stiffness. As the name proclaims the spokes are also fully black for a stealth high-tech appearance. Each spoke also runs through the hub flange from one side of the rim to the other and being bonded to the flange eliminates weak points at the hub that can cause flex or spoke failure.

The Carbon Core hub is stronger and lighter than typical 6061-T6 aluminum hubs and the molded construction allows strength increasing elements to be added that cannot be created on a machined alloy hub. 7075-T6 freehub body is heat treated after forging and hard anodized for an alloy body that is incredibly strong and durable. Three steel pawls with 24 engagement points for instant power transfer. High precision ABEC-5 sealed cartridge bearings roll smooth for the long haul.

Light weight 20mm deep alloy rim with welded joint and machined braking surface increases durability, offers more reliable stopping power and climbs like a dream. 24 spokes front laced 2X with 30 spokes rear laced 2X non-drive and 3X drive-side.

Includes titanium shaft quick-release skewers and wheel magnet. Clincher compatible only. Size 700c (19-622 ISO/ETRTO). 1404 grams per set (weighed without included skewers).
