The most noticeable change over the Ergo 3 is Sidi's new Techno 3 closure system. With three retention points across the upper, this Velcro®-free design allows for an incredibly secure, precise fit. The new low friction line material makes fine-tuned adjustments easier than ever, and provides improved durability over last year's Techno 2 closure. The topmost Techno 3 line is linked to a classic Sidi Caliper Buckle for familiar fit customization where its easiest to access from the saddle. Finally the updated Soft Instep Closure System® and padded tongue have been made lighter, helping to boost your competitive edge while simultaneously eliminating pressure points and discomfort.
At the heart of the Wire is Sidi's updated Vent Carbon Sole®. Like last season's design, air channeling ports have been added for heat dispassion and comfort across a wide range of race conditions. But in this new sole, the vents have been made closeable, allowing riders to block out the wind on chilly rides as well. The T700 Carbon construction delivers a feathery low weight without giving up the stiffness demanded by competitive athletes.
Vented Dual Density insoles provide comfort underfoot and have corresponding perforations to the sole vents for unimpeded airflow. The Adjustable Heel Retention Device® features ventilated lower area as well, along with a wider design and more compliant material. The result helps eliminate power robbing heel lift without discomfort.
The Wire Vent Carbon Road Shoe is available in White Vernice and Yellow Fluorescent/Black Vernice. Of course virtually all of the Wire's small parts are replaceable and readily available, ensuring your shoes stay on the road, season after season. Compatible with standard three bolt road pedals.

Greatest pair of shoes IMHO
Although price is typical Sidi...high, these shoes are pure PRO and this is why. They fit superbly, are so creature feature comfy with incremental adjustability the smallest click and offer unparalleled performance and looks that beats all others hands down. My friends, if you're serious about your cycling, ride hard, train hard or just want to look top shelf, you've go to have a pair of SIDI's and in your shoe rotation. Color is your choice.
