Sidi Genius 6.6 Carbon Vent Mega Road Shoe

The Genius 6.6 gets a major update, following in the footsteps of Sidi's top-of-the-line Wire Road Shoe. This Mega version is designed for riders with wider feet.

At the heart of this redesign is Sidi's newest Vent Carbon Sole®, which features air channeling ports for heat dispassion and comfort across a wide range of race conditions. The vents have also been made closeable, allowing riders to block out the wind on chilly rides too. The T700 Carbon construction delivers a feathery low weight without giving up the stiffness demanded by competitive athletes.

Next, new Vented Dual Density insoles provide comfort underfoot and have corresponding perforations to the sole vents for unimpeded airflow. The redesigned Adjustable Heel Retention Device now features ventilated lower area as well, along with a wider design and more compliant material. The result helps eliminate power robbing heel lift without discomfort.

Smartly, Sidi has made no changes to their celebrated retention system. The Genius 6.6 Vent features a ratcheting Caliper Buckle for easy on-bike adjustment, and two High Security Velcro® lower straps for an optimized fit and superior comfort. The Soft Instep Closure System® and padded tongue help eliminate pressure points, and the system has been slightly lighter for a leg up on race day.

The Genius 6.6 Carbon Vent Carbon Mega Road Shoe is available in White/Black Vernice. Of course virtually all of the Wire's small parts are replaceable and readily available, ensuring your shoes stay on the road, season after season. Compatible with standard three bolt road pedals. This is the wide version. A standard width is available separately.
