Great jacket for rainy spring rides

I bought this jacket before my Seattle to Bend, Or bike trip. The jacket was easily packable and was great for decents at higher elevations. It rained the last day riding into Sisters, Or, and it kept me dry. It is not the warmest jacket, but for late spring rainy days it is perfect. I'm 5'10 180 pounds (athletic build) and the large fit me perfect. The cut of the jacket is great, not to tight or bulky.

A great affordable rain jacket

I wear this for commuting, training and team rides. It's lightweight, breathes well and is relatively packable. My wife's got an older model of this jacket and was so happy w hers that I bought one- despite having a nicer PTFE jacket from Endura. I'm very glad I did- this jacket has the right balance of waterproofness, weight and features.

Showers Pass sizes can be a little off- I did have to order one size smaller than I normally wear.

Best lightweight rain jacket I've used - but I still sweat in it.

I've struggled to find a waterproof jacket that does not turn into a clam bake. This is the best combination of waterproof and breath-ability that I've found.

The jacket is definitely waterproof. I have an hour long commute and even in a full downpour my upper body does not get wet from the rain.

The jacket has good ventilation. The pit zips are in front and collect air fairly well. They could be a little bigger. I also like that the Velcro adjustment at the wrist. You can open up the wrist so that it vents air into your arm or you can shut it down to keep your arms warm. Nice feature. Typical back vent.

The jacket is roomy to allow for layering, it is windproof and it is thin enough to not impose a high insulation factor. Plus you can pack it into your jersey pocket when not in use.

It is lightweight, relatively breathable and well ventilated. However, a high tempo ride will still result in the dreaded clam bake, just not as bad as all the other jacket's you've tried. I don't think there is any waterproof jacket that will keep you dry on the inside. This is about as good as it gets.
