Shimano's 105 crankset gets a sleek new look, drops a bit of weight, and has a bit more space between chainrings for less rub in certain gear combinations. Chainrings mate perfectly with Shimano's new asymmetric line of chains for crisp shifting and less likelihood of dropping a chain. Hollowtech II design with outboard bearings features long life, stiff power transfer, and light weight. Color: Black. Available with Standard 53/39 Tooth chainrings or Compact 50/34 Tooth Chainrings in 170mm, 172.5mm and 175mm lengths. 780 grams (Standard 53/39; 172.5mm).

upgraded from Durace standard two ring to this 105 Compact - VERY pleased....easy to install & it shifts like a Porsche!

increased pedalling cadence called for changing sprocket from 1123 to a 1227 or going to a compact crank......went with the compact crank because I like the close ratios on the current sprocket...the 105 is a virtual twin of the olded Durace and thus is an EXCELLENT value
