I'm not a fan of seat padding which is why I've gravitated to Brooks saddles over the years. But the Turbo's thin, firm padding does a good job of not creating pain at my seat points. Also, like the Brooks Pro or San Marco Rolls, the Turbo has a long, thin nose that allows the thighs to freely drop past the saddle. I have wide seat points and the Turbo works for me whereas, say the Concor is far too narrow for me. I like smooth leather that allows you to slide back into position after standing on the pedals, but I have to say the Turbo's suede may have some benefits in the long run. I've reluctantly collected at least fifteen saddles over the last 10 years and from riding the Brooks, I've finally learned how to properly sit on a bike seat, a bit of cycling knowledge being lost due to the laziness afforded by the center channel. For those who know how to sit on a bike saddle, the Turbo works well and will also add a nice classic alternative to the latest and greatest.
