Reynolds Sixty Six Clincher Wheelset

Extreme aerodynamics without skimping on versatility. The Sixty Six Clincher Wheelset is equally at home in almost any pro-level racing scenario, from Triathlon and TT events, to brutal mountain stages and lightening fast crits.

Massive 66mm profiles slice right through the wind and vastly improve the wheelset's overall strength. This allows for a low 16/20 spoke count to shave extra grams without a sacrificing durability. Reynolds' full carbon rim construction is also more advanced than ever, with a high modulus design and refined resin system to ensure uncompromising stiffness and further durability (think cobblestones). A new Ultra Light Carbon Layup yields a laminate with a weight as impressive as its handling performance.

'Swirl Lip Generator' technology has also been incorporated into both rims to reduce pressure and drag, and improve overall handling in crosswinds. By placing a 0.9mm lip on the rim's leading edge, the air flowing around the rim is guided back to reattach to the surface. Basically, the air wants to 'stick' to the rim with an aerodynamic principle similar to that of an aircraft wing. And, as a final innovation, Reynolds has added the CTg brake track for an exceptional improvement in braking performance.

16 spokes front, laced radially. 20 spokes rear, laced 2x on the drive side and radially on the non-drive side. Internal nipples and DT Aerolite bladed spokes shave a few more grams while increasing aerodynamics.

These Reynolds branded hubs are also made by DT Swiss, the industry standard for quality and durability with a smooth rolling, totally serviceable design. Available in Shimano/SRAM 8/9/10. Compatible with clincher tires. 622 ISO (700c).
