Reynolds MTN C Clincher Wheelset

The Reynolds MTN C wheelset brings a full carbon clincher mountain bike rim to reality. It seems impossible that a carbon rim could stand up to the rigors of mountain biking, but Reynolds proves it can and then some. The rim is so strong thanks to its use of unidirectional carbon fibers which can pack together tighter than carbon weave. The wheel is thus given incredible lateral stiffness but also gives the rim sidewalls great vibration dampening qualities. The 33mm rim depth paired with hidden spoke nipples further brings rotational weight to a minimum. 24 super-butted DT revolution spokes per wheel laced 2 cross continue the weight savings, strength, and vibration dampening. Reynolds specific hubs are durable and roll smooth. 6-bolt disc only. Includes titanium quick-release skewers, 3 plastic tire levers, rim strips, valve extenders and special internal nipple spoke wrench. 1450 grams/set (weighed without included skewers).
