Racktime Racks are made by Tubus, one of the world's most respected manufacturers of bicycle touring racks. While Tubus racks are designed for the long haul, RackTime products offer unique features specifically geared toward the urban rider, and come with slightly friendlier price tags to match.

The AddIt is their toughest rear carrier, with a larger top platform to maximize its carrying capacity and an extra side rail for easy compatibility with any standard pannier set. The additional rail also provides lower placement of bags for improved bike handling and plenty of heel clearance when you're fully loaded. The aluminum design is simple, lightweight and looks great on any bike.

Like all Racktime's carriers, the AddIt is compatible with standard panniers or their own "SnapIt" bags/accessories (sold separately), which attach to the rack quickly and easily via an integrated adapter. Combine this easy bag attachment with a maximum load capacity of 66lbs (30kg) and you've got a rack that's perfect for that weekend tour you've been planning or the rigors of the daily commute.

Love the Click On - Click off for bags

I REALLY like this rack. The click on - click off feature is outstanding. I commute approximately 60-70 miles a week over some very rough streets and along the Mississippi River levy. I bought a Racktime racktop bag and a set of Racktime panniers. I interchange them depending upon what I'm carrying. They and the rack make it easy and safe to carry a load. I carry as much as 30-40 lbs sometimes. The rack handles it easily. The standard rack stays that come with the rack are too short for my bike (Fuji Absolute 1.0). I had to buy a set of 120 mm stays, and the price for the two simple tubular pieces of aluminum is exorbitant. That's the only downside to the rack. Value Rating would be 5 stars if the long stays came with the rack.
