Fast rolling, reliable recumbent tire. Black. Size; 20 x 1 1/8" (26-451). 110 max psi. Weight: 258g.

20 Inch Sizing Note: There are two sizes commonly referred to as "20 inch" which are not interchangeable.

This size features a 451mm bead seat diameter (to ensure compatibility this measurement should be printed somewhere on your existing tire or rim). The width measurement for the 451 size is almost always expressed in the form of a fraction (e.g. 1 1/2), not a decimal (e.g. 1.5). If you are unclear about which size fits your 20 inch rim please contact us.

nice fast tire!

I was using the stock Kenda Quest 65psi tires that came on my Sun EZ-1 SX long wheelbase Recumbent, while very good tires, they are heavy feeling and slow! I switched to the high pressure 100psi Primo Comets and my bike was faster by at least 15% and now hugs the pavement and grips well in hard cornering.

For the price these are killer high pressure FAST rolling Recumbent tires!

Best tire I have used on the front of my Tour Easy.

The tire is used on the front of my Tour Easy & it is very durable, long lasting, & not to difficult to change. Traction is good.

Good, quick-rolling tire

Smooth, low rolling resistance. Wire bead adds a little weight but overall it's not too bad. Kevlar belt is good for puncture resistance. Ride is decent and it holds 110 PSI without issue. Good training tire that I would race in a pinch.

Great commuter tire!

My commute is 5 - 12 miles depending on the route that I choose to go home on each day. The biggest challenge riding through the streets of San Francisco is not the hills but a flat tire from pot holes and broken glass. I've only had these tires for a month but they'll holding up quite well (I've not noticed any cut marks) and no flats thus far...knock on wood. Definitely a good value for the money.

Looks cool, feels cool and rolls nicely. I like the Prrmo Comet tyres.

Primo describes the tyre nicely. PRIMO a bit difficult to pry onto the rim as usual but nice tyre. thanks Wooden Shoe Biker

Simply the best recumbent tire out there

Primo Comets are simply the best balance of speed, comfort, and longevity for recumbents of any tire I know. Most other 100psi streettraining tires in this size are simply punishing to ride at pressure - non-compliant would be the word. These have a silky blend of low rolling resistance, combined with a plush ride. And I've used both standard (this one) and Kevlar Comets, and have yet to get a flat on either.

ONLY item of note for this tire is that it is a 451 size, NOT a 406, so it does NOT fit standard BMX (or modern recumbent) 20 inch tire sizes! This particular deal is only for the older 451 size, used commonly in older (90's vintage) recumbent front tires. So be warned.

Still, can't beat Primo for road use on Recumbents as an all-around tire.
